Art - Printmaking is about exploring a range of printmaking mediums and techniques, creating artworks that communicate and express ideas or messages, and applying printmaking techniques to a range of projects and outcomes. The students explore the work of different artists and printing techniques, including collage, digital, relief and multi-layered and unpack artwork analysis and reflective practice.

Curriculum focus

You Can Print with Anything

An exploration of basic hand-made printmaking techniques.

Thinking in Reverse

Delving deeper into relief printmaking techniques and the creative process.

Level Up

Exploring multilayered printing techniques through stencil-based print mediums.

Assessment

Each project contains practical, analysis, and reflection components. All are assessed with regular feedback and rubrics. An end-of-semester examination will test written analysis and creative response skills.
