DEACON, Peter Frank (1948-2025)

Peter boarded at the College from 1958 to 1965 following his brothers George (OGC 1950) and Allan (OGC 1952). During his time at College he was a member of Shannon House, receiving general house colours in 1965. He also played football and participated in the cadet program.

Following school, Peter completed an Economics degree and went to work in government, including posts for the Australian Department of Trade and Paris in Paris and Suva. He also served a trade commissioner in Abu Dhabi and Hong Kong.  He played a pivotal role in the Australian Business in the Gulf (now Australian Business Council Dubai) and was later the Executive Director of the Victorian Government Business Office.

Peter passed away 12 March 2025.
