LUCAS, John Austin (1956-2025)
John was enrolled at the College from 1969 to 1973, starting in Form II at the Preparatory School. At the Senior School he was a member of Calvert House and received multiple house and school colours for cricket and football. He also played cricket, captaining the U15A team and reaching the 1st XI cricket team in 1973 and the 3rd XVIII football team.
John was married to Fiona and they have two children. While
his life took him beyond Geelong, his fondness for the bay and the Cats endured
throughout his years.
