Peter boarded at the College from 1947 to 1950. He was a member of Warrinn and went on to served as its captain in 1950, as well as the Senior House prefect in 1950. Peter was a talented musician and was a noted performer in concerts, both in a band and solo. He led the Warrinn choir in 1950 and sat on the music committee. Outside of music, he also was involved in a number sports, such as rowing and athletics. He received multiple house and school colours, and was a member of the athletics team and 1^st VIII crew (1950). He was a member of the  Federation Peak Exploration Society group led by Bechervaise, in the support party.

Peter was married to Margaret and they have three children.
