CARMICHAEL, Malcolm Maxwell CSM
Malcolm Maxwell Carmichael was a boarder at the College from 14 February 1957 to December 1964.
'Max' started his Army service as a Reservist, and later transferred to the Regular Army, serving two operational tours in East Timor, and one on Bougainville, all on peace-keeping operations. He was awarded the Conspicuous Service Medal in the Queen's Birthday Honours in 2003, and retired from the Regular Army in 2004 with the rank of Major.
