Norman was an only child who grew up in Berwick before becoming a boarder at Mackle in 1943. Norman was a member of the rowing crew and participated in the Head of the River Competition. When he left the College Norman commenced a successful career in the financial sector and became a respected accountant. Norman and his flrs.t wife Pam had three children, two daughters and a son. ln his late seventies Norman married again, and he and Mary enjoyed travelling around Australia and researching family history.
