Robin Hodges Cheetham, born 1 November 1931, was enrolled at The Geelong College Preparatory School as a boarder in 1943. During his time at Senior School he was on the House of Guilds Committee and rowed on the 3rd and 2nd VIII crews. A member of Morrison House, he was awarded House Colours for Rowing in his final year, 1949.

After school Robin became a farmer but also during his life was an opal miner and pilot.

Robin passed away 24 August 2020 aged 88 years. Husband of Andy and father of Ali, he is remembered for his adventurous spirit, enquiring mind and storytelling.
