COOKE, David Hugh 'Crockett' (1961-2017)


David Cooke, often known as 'Crockett', became a day student at Geelong College from 26 May 1970 to December 1978. He had been born on 29 August 1961 and his address at enrolment was 'Rugby Park', Wallington. Before entering College he had been a pupil at Wallington State School. At College, he was a member of the 2nd Tennis VIIIs in 1977 and 1978.

He joined the Victoria Police from 1981 to 1986, established Bellarine Sports at Ocean Grove from 1987 to 1989, then worked in Real Estate from 1989 to 1996, after which he joined the Western Australia Railway Police. From 1996 to 2006 he lived in Western Australia before returning to Victoria.

He died on 6 December 2017, age 56 years.
