DANIEL, Neville David Beatty (1957-2009)
Neville David Beatty was a student at the College from 1969 to 1975 after first attending Chilwell Primary School. At College, he played in the 2nd Cricket Team of 1975 earning Shannon House Colours that year. Neville led a varied life as a developer, function centre manager and an environmental volunteer. He early evinced an interest in adventure activities, and in 1974, was awarded an Outward Bound scholarship. A passionate fisherman, he wrote for fishing magazines and fly fished near his Tumut property in New South Wales. He was, between 1994 and 1996 National President of the Australian Aerochute Association. His brother, Raymond John Daniel (OGC 1980) also attended the College.
