Retired veterinary surgeon ‘Geoff’ Davidson was described in his Age funeral notice as a footballer, squash player, fisherman, gardener. Born at Bruthen on 21 March 1930, he attended Bairnsdale High School before further education as a boarder at Geelong College from February 1943 to December 1947. A Cadet Corps Sergeant in 1947 he also played in the 1st Football XVIII in 1947.
‘Geoff’ was 84 years of age when he died at his home at Mallacoota Inlet on 7 September 2014.
