EMERY, John Austin (1927-2021)
John Emery boarded at The Geelong College from 1941 to 1942, entering at Form IIB. His mother Mrs Ada Emery (nee Austin) of Glen Iris enrolled her son after the death of his father Ted Emery in Myanmar, 1937. Following school John would go onto work at Barunah Plains where he and his wife Shirley raised their three children.
John passed away 30 March 2021, aged 93 years. He was grandfather of seven and great grandfather of three.
