GREEN, William Leigh 'Bill' (1954-2018)


'Bill' Green, born on 4 May 1954, became a day student at Geelong College from 3 February 1966 to March 1971 after attending Newtown State School. His address at enrolment was 18 Aphrasia St, Newtown. At College, he rowed with the 7th Rowing VIII in 1969 and the 4th Rowing VIII in 1970 and 1971. He was a member of the Library Committee in 1968 and 1969, the Rowing Committee in 1971, and won the Robert Gillespie Prize in 1969.

'Bill died on 5 March 2018, aged 63 years. His brother, John (OGC 1973) was also educated at Geelong College.
