HIRST, Geoffrey Lewis (1934-2009)
A student at the College from November, 1938 to 1951 he, with his brother, Peter were among the handful of students to that time with the longest attendance at the College.
His father, Cedric Lewis Hirst (1907-1986) had also been educated at the College from 1917 to 1925 and after war service had been a member of the College Council from 1945 to 1967 and a member of its Finance Committee. Geoffrey Hirst of Prahran died 2 October, 2009.
