JOHNSON, Craig Ernest (1947-2016)

Craig Ernest Johnson was born 27 April 1947 to Eric and Linda who lived in Purrumbete Ave, Manifold Heights. He was enrolled as a day student at Geelong College in 1958, starting in Form Upper IV (Year 6 equivalent). By 1962, in Senior School, Craig passed subjects in the Intermediate Examinations and finished at the College in Form IV.

Craig started his working life as clerk. He married Robyn and they had two children. By the 1980s Craig was working in finance. He was also supporter of the Geelong Amateur Football and Netball Club and served as their secretary 1980-81, 1983-86. He was awarded Life Membership in 1986. He also served on the Community Care Chemist board as a directory for 24 years and Chairman for 10 years.

Craig passed away 11 December 2016, aged 69 years. He was a husband, father of two and grandfather of four.
