MARLES, Dr Fay Surtees AM (1926-2024)

Dr Fay Marles served on The Geelong College Council from 1988 to 1998. While her background was in social work and academia, she served as the first Victorian Commissioner of Equal Opportunity (1977-1986) and was the first female Chancellor of the University of Melbourne (2001-2004).
