PHILLIPS, Derek Roquet (1930-2017)


D R Phillips (Football 1948).

D R Phillips (Football 1948).

Derek Phillips was enrolled as a boarder from 3 June 1943 to December 1948. His address at enrolment was 29 Berkeley St, Hawthorn. He had previously attended Carey Grammar School and Scotch College, Melbourne.

Derek was a member of the Relay Team in 1945 and the Under 16 A Football Team of 1946. In 1947 and 1948, he was a member of the 1st Football XVIII and Team Vice Captain in 1948. In 1948, he was also a member of the Football and Music Committees, a Warrinn House Prefect, and a Cadet Corps Corporal.

He died on 7 June 2017.
