CHEMISTRY PRIZE

The Chemistry Prize is a current, annually awarded academic prize. It was first awarded in its modern form in 1989, though there were earlier Chemistry prizes.

In the 1874 Annual Report, George Morrison noted the introduction of a course of lectures in physical chemistry and that same year a Chemistry Prize 'of a silver-mounted blowpipe, the gift of G F Link' was awarded to Herbert Cunningham.
