'The Collegian' is the first known newsletter of the School.

Published briefly from 17 February 1882 to 22 May 1882, 'The Collegian' was a curiously humourous, self-published news periodical. It was edited and written by a student of the College, Alexander Henderson Moore (1865-1919), the son of a clergyman, Alexander McIlwaine Moore and Ann Davidson nee Bain. Alexander Moore also became a minister. His wife donated these copies following his death.
