HAND, Graeme William (1931-2022)

Graeme boarded at the College in 1948, completing Form IVA. He was involved in the cadets and enjoyed the cricket. He returned to Red Cliffs, at first working as a truck driver carting grain, then later joining his father’s business, cultivating vineyards for sultanas and table grapes. Graeme was involved in his local community, joining the fire brigade, Apex, sport clubs and serving on many local committees. He joined the Red Cliffs Fire Brigade in 1958, serving for 63 years and later becoming a Life Member. Graeme married Ellen in 1960 and they have two children, Philip and Elizabeth.

Graeme passed away 3 July 2022, aged 90 years.
