Ian A Hocking (Football 1948).

Ian Arthur Hocking, born on 15 September 1931, became a day student at Geelong College from 10 February 1937 to December 1948. His address at enrolment was 6 Wallace St, Bareena (Newtown). At College, he was a member of Morrison House, Vice-Captain of the Under 15 A Cricket Team in 1946 and a member of the 1st Football XVIII in 1948.

He gained his Real Estate License in 1984 after attending the Gordon and RMIT and established Ian Hocking Real Estate in Geelong. He was Captain of the Geelong Golf Club from 1984 to 1986 and President from 1986 to 1989.

He died on 2 May 2018 at Cotton Tree, Queensland.

His son, Stephen (OGC 1978), was also educated at Geelong College.
