KEITH, Graham Leslie (1935-2024)
Graham attended the College from Kinder, joining his older brother Roy (OGC 1945) and father Bert, who taught at the school. His brother Ian (OGC 1963) also attended the College.
Graham was a member of Shannon House and competed well in Athletics. In 1950 he won the U15 Athletics Championship (Athol J Wilson Cup) and followed it up with another win in 1951 (GWC Ewan Cup U16 Atheltics Championship).
Following school, Graham studied Civil Engineering at the Gordon Institute of Technology. He also served in the national service in the 1950s. After spending some time working in Melbourne, Geelong and Ballarat, Graham moved to Warrnambool and worked in an engineering role for the local council. He met his future wife Joan Mason in Warrnambool and they married in 1960. They have two children.
Graham passed away 4 June 2024, aged 88 years.
