Alistair Lord.

VFL Footballer, Alistair Lord was a student at the College from 1954 to 1956 after having previously attended Timboon Consolidated School. He played in the College 1st Football XVIII in 1956 before becoming a footballer with the Geelong Football Club (GFC) in 1959 and a Brownlow Medallist in 1962. He played 122 games for the GFC and 8 games as a Victorian State Representative, winning the GFC Best and Fairest Award in 1962, and becoming a member of the 1963 Geelong premiership team. He retired from football to farm at Scott’s Creek in 1966.

Alistair’s twin brother, Stewart also attended the College and played for GFC.

Alistair Lord was inducted into the Old Geelong Collegians' Association (OGCA) Notables Gallery at Geelong College in 2011.
