William Miller (M Campbell)
William Watson Miller attended Geelong College as a boarder from 8 June 1921 to December 1921. His birth date was given as 1 October 1909, his address at enrolment 32 Story St, Parkville (Melbourne), and his parent/Guardian's name as J. D. Miller. He had previously attended Errol St State School, North Melbourne. After Geelong College he attended Scorch College, Melbourne from 14 February 1922 to December 1922.

records that at the Prepartory School Inter-House Sports he came 2nd in the Under 13 100 yds sprint and the Bellerophon House Team, of which he was a member, won the Preparatory School Flag Race.

His descendants hold letters written by William Miller when he was at Geelong College.
His descendants provided the following details: He was born at Motherwell, North Lanarkshire, Scotland. His father was John William Miller born 11 August 1873 at Tradeston, Glascow, Scotland and died in 1951 at Melbourne, Victoria. His mother was Wilhelmina McGlownie, nee Watson who had been born on 11 November 1883 and had died on 26 June 1982 at Melbourne, aged 77 years. William had a brother, Robert Haldane Miller (1905-1982), and sister Ivy Haldane Miller (1907-1987).
John and Wilhelmina Miller and their young family including William emigrated to Australia aboard the ship 'Orsova departing? 27 May 1910. In October 1938, William married to Maud Florence, nee Scotchford of Islington, London and two daughters were born. In the 1939 Electoral Register William of Hackney, London was listed as a bus conductor with London Public Transport. In 1944, his daughter's birth certificate recorded him as an engineer automatic setter.
