Order of the Day, 1863 (Annual Report, 1863).
ORDER OF THE DAY
The ‘Order of the Day’ was the time schedule for the Geelong College during its early years. In 1871 after the move to the new location in Newtown this routine was slightly varied with Sea Bathing moved to the 4pm to 6pm time and 7am to 8am was permitted as play.
This was discontinued when in-house bathing facilities were installed.
