He died on 19 August 1948. A brief obituary was published in the Mt Barker Advertiser in September 1948:
'A very deep gloom was cast over the Meadows district when it was learned that Mr. Arthur Maurice Snow, who had resided in the district for several years, had died suddenly after having been in indifferent health for some time. Deceased, who was highly respected and widely known, was a member of the R.S.L., and also of various organisations which stood for the betterment and welfare of the district. On Friday afternoon, Aug. 20th a large number of relatives and friends gathered at his late residence when the Rev. L. D. Reipert conducted a very impressive service and afterwards at the crematorium in Adelaide. Deceased leaves a widow and two daughters.'
