THOMSON, James Douglas (1971-2009)
James Douglas Thomson,account manager of Newtown, Geelong, was a student at the Geelong College from 1983 to 1988 and a member of McArthur House. In 1988, he played in the 2nd football XVIII, the 3rd cricket team, the School Golf Team as well as earning House Athletics, Cricket, Football and General Colours. He continued his enthusiasm for activity after leaving school with a particular enjoyment of sailing.
His father, Cameron Thompson, and brother, Ian, were also educated at the College.
