WILLIAMS, John Henry (1928-2014)
John Williams died on 12 July 2014. Born on 30 November 1928 to parents Melville John Williams and Eva May nee Heywood he was first a pupil at Anakie State School before entering, as a day student, Geelong College from 13 February 1941 to December 1945. He ran the family farming grazing property ‘Marathon’ at Anakie after his father retired in 1955. His brother, Noel, OGC 1935, and son, Mark, OGC 1972 were also educated at College.
