G Baker, Relay team 1955


Gerald studied at College from 1950-1955. A keen athlete, he was a member of the Athletics and Relay teams, and enjoyed his years rowing at school. He was under 15 Champion in Athletics and was awarded the Athol J Wilson trophy. Gerald went on to study Wool Classing at the Gordon Technical College. He farmed at Pt Wilson and later at Bamganie. He was a 50 year member of the Royal Geelong Yacht Club. Gerald was married to Sheila (dec) and they had four children.
