BIDSTRUP, Alan Ernest (1925-2016)


Alan Ernest Bidstrup, farmer, became a boarder at Geelong College from 8 February 1938 to December 1940 after earlier education at Kurrue Kurrue Creek State School. His brother, George Ferguson Bidstrup (1924-1945) killed on active service during World War II; and sons, George OGC 1970, Ian OGC 1972, David OGC 1977, and Roger OGC 1981 were all educated at College. Alan died, aged 90 years, on 27 January 2016.
