BIRDSEY, Keith John (1946-1962)


Keith Birdsey, who died in October 1962 while a pupil in Form V at the College, was remembered by his ‘class-mates' gift, an electric clock, known as the Birdsey Clock in the library, (since removed).

Born in 1946, he was the son of a successful barrister, Roy D Birdsey, and attended Kindergarten from 1951 and the College as a day student from 1954 until several months before his death. He was a member of McArthur House.
