BRAITHWAITE, John Curwen (1962-2022)

John was enrolled at The Geelong College from 1977-1978 and was a member of McArthur House. Following school, John completed courses at Geelong Adult Training and Education (GATE) and enjoyed regular sports. For many years he played table tennis, including winning pennant flags in the C grade. He also played chess regularly and was a member of the Geelong Chess Club, competing in the B grade. John played Lawn Bowls for Geelong West in the C1 grade. In more recent years he was part of the City of Geelong Bowls Club, in Division 8, and played table tennis at the Geelong Table Tennis Association.

John passed away 1 June 2022, aged 60 years.
