BRUMLEY, John Wells (1925-2015)
John Wells Brumley, farmer, attended Mortlake State School before his entry as a boarder to College from 8 February 1938 to December 1941. A rower in the Senior Fours and member of Wettenhall House, he also won the Senior Gymnastics Prize in 1941. His father, Arthur Leslie Brumley (1900-1991), OGC 1914, and brother, Leslie ‘Alan’ Brumley OGC 1945, were also educated at College.
He died on 8 December 2015.
