Viktor Ceberg, former staff member, is the sculptor of the wooden art pieces, ‘Pegasus Rising’ located near the Austin Gray Centre, and ‘Carji’ Greeves at the Middle School.

Known for creating large public sculptures for government and corporate bodies, including a number that draw strongly on references to memories in local communities, he has produced a diversity of projects including sculptures for RSL memorial avenues in Victorian country towns and a series of large steel murals celebrating the surrounding wetlands.

He also spent several weeks with Year 9 Austin Gray art students in Art Stream ‘A’ creating a series of sculptural works using wire and plaster designed on famous gargoyles from Europe and in the year 2000 Viktor created a whimsical set of wooden sculpture bollards at Campbell House. In 2008, he created the large wooden sculpture of ‘Carji’ Greeves at the Preparatory School.
