The Geelong College Chapel was dedicated on 8 March 1989 as the centre of the school's spiritual life. It was formerly the School’s House of Music, designed by Philip Hudson, built in about 1936 and opened in 1937.

Situated on the North-East corner of the Senior School campus. The College Chapel was created by architects, McGlashan Everist, through a skilful conversion to enlarge the original building, refurbishment, and installation of a new nave. Painstaking attention was paid to matching the bricks, slate roof and other details so that today it is difficult to detect the old from the new elements of the building. The Chapel is used for student services and for weddings involving Old Geelong Collegians, current members of staff and Morongo Old Collegians.

The Chapel contains the Jamieson Bible and the Rolland 'Tree of Life' Window. A generous gift from a College family enabled the installation of the Chapel Organ, built by Robert Pogson of Orange, NSW.
