DAVIDSON, Geoffrey Ian (1937-2023)
Geoff boarded at the College from 1951-1954, coming from Balmattum near Euroa. He soon joined the rowing crews, starting in the 5th VIII. In 1954 he had reached the 1st VIII and received school and McArthur house colours for rowing. He also player football, and was in the 3rd XVIII in his final year at the school.
Following school Geoff returned to Balmattum working on a number of properties including the family farm. He played local football and joined the CFA. He married in 1967 and had two children. Then in 1978 married Marg and welcomed two step-children.
Geoff passed away 30 November 2023, aged 86 years.
