DENNIS, Noel Charles Richard (1926-2010)


Noel Charles Richard Dennis, grazier of ‘Brolga’, Warncoort was a boarder at Geelong College from 1937 to 1943 and a member of the 2nd Rowing Crew and 1st Football XVIII of 1943. He earned Athletics House colours and was a member of the Athletics Committee from 1942 to 1943. He was awarded the Athol J Wilson Cup in 1941.

In 1945, during World War II, he served with the Royal Australian Navy (RAN). His father, Alexander William Dennis (1887-1969), was also a boarder at the College from 1901. He died at Camperdown on 23 June 2010
