FEN AND ROY PILLOW BURSARY First mentioned in a Council Report of 19 March 1919 the Fen and Roy Pillow Bursary was awarded in memory of
'Fen' Pillow and
Roy Pillow, both killed in World War I. It was originally available for Protestants who had attended the College for at least one year and who had completed the ‘intermediate’ exam.
By 1972, this Bursary incorporated the A K H Thompson Bursary and was defined as being for a Year 11 student returning the following year who is of sound academic merit and a member of a first team.
