FLETT, John Ferguson (1937-2021)
John Flett, son of Harold and Ada Flett of North Shore, was born in 1937. He was enrolled at The Geelong College in 1946, beginning at Form L IVA. He continued at the college, placing well in swimming sports. In 1950 he earned a scholarship and received a boxing prize in his final year. He completed his Leaving Certificate in 1953.
Following school, John would become a teacher in Melbourne. He married Viera and they had four children. By the 1970s the family had relocated to Lockington, Vic to farm.
John passed away 26 September 2021 at Kyabram, aged 84 years.
