GIBSON, Thomas Allan (1871-1930)

Thomas Gibson, born on 12 March 1871 and son of George Gibson, was enrolled at Geelong College from 10 February 1885. His address at entry was Autumn St, Geelong. The enrolment registers do not record a date of departure.

He died on 14 February 1930 at Randwick, New South Wales.

Pegasus in May 1930 reported his death:
'Thomas Allan Gibson (1886) passed away at Randwick, Sydney, on the 14th February. One of four brothers who attended the College in the eighties, he afterwards entered the services of Messrs, Howard Smith, Limited, and at the time of his death was Assistant Manager of the Company's Coaling Department. He had for some time filled the office of Vice-President of the Randwick Bowling Club.'

His brothers, Hugh Traill Gibson, George Corbet Gibson and Bruce Blair Gibson were all educated at Geelong College.
