GRACE, Patrick Clifford Campbell (1912-1994)


Born on 16 December 1912 at Paington, England, Patrick Grace was a son of Charles Halliburton Campbell and Katherine Barbara nee Clifford. He attended Worcester Grammar School in England before his enrolment at Geelong College from 19 September 1923 to December 1924. His address at the time of enrolment was 'Carinya' Noble St, Newtown.

During World War II he served (No. V53877) with the Australian Army as a Signalman with Signals 4 Division. He enlisted at Prahran, Victoria on 25 March 1941 and is lated with World War II service by the Department of Veterans Affairs. His Department of Veterans Affairs record list his birth date as 16 December 1911.

He is not listed on the Geelong College World War II Memorial Tablet.

His brothers, John Playfair Campbell Grace, George Oliver Campbell Grace and Malcolm Verity Grace were also educated at Geelong College.
