HONOUR BOARDS


Most of the older School Honour Boards are on display in the Norman Morrison Memorial Hall. The first of these were installed in 1913, the gift of the Old Collegians’ Association. House Honour Boards are located in their respective House Rooms. The earliest School Dux Honour Board (1861-1910) is located in the original Main Entrance Foyer of the School.

Specific dedication details of Honour Boards include:

Geelong College Cup (1911-1974) and Football Captains (1911-1976). ‘In Memory of… L. M. Calvert. Presented by his sons L. M. Calvert & C. M. Calvert.’

Gus Kearney Memorial Scholarships (1911-1976) and Senior Prefects (1969- ). ‘Presented by Stewart McArthur, K. C. President of The Old Collegians’ Association, 1911-1913’.

Athletics Captains (1908-2006). ‘Presented by Mr. and Mrs. D. W. Ewan’

Head of the River, Strokes of Boat Crews. (1908-1970). ‘This board was presented by Old Collegians’ Mr W. H. Pincott; In recognition of his services as coach during years 1908-1916’.
