JAMES AND DOLINA ARBUCKLE MEMORIAL PRIZE

JAMES AND DOLINA ARBUCKLE MEMORIAL PRIZE

The 'James and Dolina Arbuckle Memorial Prize' is awarded annually to the student who has given outstanding service to the College in work, sport and leadership.

Funds for the prize were originally donated in 1950 by Mrs Dolina Marion Dickinson the mother of Harley Rivers Dickinson, a student from 1949 to 1957. Although probably awarded since the 1950s the prize is only listed in Speech Day Programs from 1987. When originally established it was to be awarded roughly on ‘Rhodes lines’ and ‘likely that a junior and a senior prize will be available’ .
