MACFARLANE BURNET LABORATORY


The MacFarlane Burnet Laboratory was named in honour of Sir Macfarlane Burnet (1899-1985), who was educated at the School from 1913 to 1916, and subsequently won the Nobel Prize for Medicine in 1960.

The laboratory was opened by Sir Gustav Nossal AC CBE PhD, scientist on 24 May 2000.
