Sally Morris, waterskier and Bis-Sport (Geelong) Sportsman of the year in 1993 and 1995, commenced world level waterskiing while still a student at Geelong College.

Sally was a member of the Australian Open Water Ski Team between 1994 and 1999. In 1997, she was a member of the six-person Australian Water Ski Team which competed in the World Championships. She has been the Australian Open Women’s Tricks Champion in 1994, 1996 and 1997. In 1989, aged 13, she became the youngest ever female competitor in the Moomba Masters International held on Melbourne’s Yarra River.

Sally has continued her involvement with the Australian Water Ski Team, appointed to the role of Team Manager at all World Championships from 2001 to the present. Sally is a member of the International Water Ski and Wakeboard Federation (IWWF) Women and Sport Council and University Commission.

Sally attended the College from 1987 to 1993. She was a member of the Athletics Team in 1988 and 1989 and the Swimming Team in 1992 and 1993. She was awarded the Physical Education Prize in 1993.

Sally Morris was inducted into the Old Geelong Collegians' Association (OGCA) Notables Gallery at Geelong College in October 2014.
