EDGAR, Ian Gibb Swan (Tom) (1931-2021)

Ian 'Tom' Edgar was born to Ian Swan and Effie Edgar in 1931. Tom was enrolled as a boarder at Geelong College in 1948, commencing Form IVB. Tom’s brother Ronald (OGC 1935) and father Ian (OGC 1906) had also attended the College.

Tom went on to become a A grade mechanic and ran his own business in Horsham. He married Madeleine in 1961 and they had seven children.

Tom passed away 17 April 2021, on the Gold Coast, aged 90 years.
