MURRAY, Andrew Strachan (1847-1930)

Andrew Murray, son of pastoralist and Geelong College supporter, Hugh Murray (1814-1869) and Elizabeth nee Young (1823-1892), and born on 23 October 1847, was enrolled at Geelong College in 1861.

He is listed in the Annual Report Prize Lists with the following award:
1865 1st, Drawing, 2nd Class

He died on 19 August 1930.

His brothers, , Augustus Morris Murray (1849-1915), Ernest Murray (1852-1936) Chester Jervis Murray (1855-1940), and Kenneth Murray (1857-1900), were also educated at Geelong College.
