MURRAY, Augustus Morris (1849-1915)

Augustus Murray, son of pastoralist and College supporter, Hugh Murray (1814-1869) and Elizabeth nee Young (1823-1892), and born on 10 July 1847, was enrolled at Geelong College in 1861.

He died on 17 January 1915.

His brothers, Andrew Strachan Murray (1847-1930), Ernest Murray (1852-1936), Chester Jervis Murray (1855-1940), and Kenneth Murray (1857-1900), were also educated at Geelong College.
