RIORDAN, Keith Victor (1885-1965)


Keith Victor Riordan was born at Prahran in July 1885, the son of Victor Michael Riordan and Everina Sophia Isabella nee MacKnight.

He was enrolled by Mrs Riordan, c/o Dr Macknight as a boarder at Geelong College on 5 April 1899.

In 1910, he married Amy Nancy Perkins, daughter of George and Phoebe Perkins, of Woodside, South Australia. They were livillg at Hotham Street, East Melbourne, when he enlisted (No. 13079) on 6 September 1916, aged 31 with 4th Australian Motor Transport Service. He embarked on HMAT A34 Persic on 22 December 1916, served in France, and returned to Australia, embarking on 5 July 1919.
