RUGBY (Sport)
Rugby was introduced as a sport at the College in 1978 but appears not to have continued beyond that year. Inter school matches were played with Geelong Grammar, Trinity Grammar and an APS Trial Team. It was also noted that Derek McFarland and Barry Rooks played in the local Geelong competition with Derek being awarded colours. Rob Leach also played rugby that year as a member of the Victorian Under 17 Team captaining it in 1979.
