St Philip's College, Alice Springs is a Uniting Church co-educational boarding and day school for students in years 7 to 12. It is located in Alice Springs, Northern Territory. It was initially developed solely as a residential college but in 1988 became a fully operational school. St Philip’s College was originally constructed under the auspices of the Australian Inland Mission (AIM) in 1964 and was pioneered by Rev Fred McKay who succeeded Rev John Flynn as superintendent of the Mission.

The construction process of 1964 was based on a number of legendary work parties comprised of volunteers from all over Australia who travelled to Alice Springs volunteering their expertise, time and labour. One such party of 38 teachers, partners and students came from Geelong College. The association between St Philip’s College and Geelong College continued for several years and the College bursar, Bruce Jamieson spent time during the early 1990s assisting with financial management at St Philip’s.

'Don' Webb, Head of Art and Warden of the House of Guilds at Geelong College depicted the activities of the College working group in a cartoon during 1964.
